Benefit from our advanced digital technology
CEREC dentistry - more comfortable, saves you time and gives a perfect result
One of the things we are most proud of at Arthur House Dental care is our commitment to using the most advanced dental technology to make your treatment faster, more comfortable and better quality.
We are one of only a few practices in the UK that have invested in CEREC dentistry. With this technology we can treat broken or misaligned teeth with even greater precision and comfort than ever before.
CEREC dentistry allows us to repair your teeth with high quality, natural looking crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays, in a single short convenient visit to our clinic.
Pleasant and comfortable dentistry
Treating damaged teeth with traditional dental crowns, inlays or onlays, require impressions of your teeth. This involves placing putty in your mouth to take the impression. Some people find this very unpleasant, especially when it causes them to gag and feel sick.
Impressions are not required with our advanced CEREC dentistry. Therefore, our patients find CEREC dentistry a much more comfortable and pleasant experience when it comes to repairing their teeth.
Single Appointment Dental Visit
Usually when you need a crown to repair a damaged or decayed tooth you need to make two visits to the dentist.
On the first visit an impression of your damaged tooth is taken and a temporary crown is fitted. This impression is then sent to the lab where they will make the permanent crown.
The permanent crown is then fitted on a second visit to the dentist a couple of weeks later.
Both visits require an anaesthetic injection. The visits also require two days off work and a two week wait for your permanent crown to be fitted.
We know that our clients lead busy lives. With our CEREC dentistry you can have perfect crowns fitted in just one short 90 minute visit, with no need for impressions or temporary crowns and just one injection.
Our clients find this very convenient.
As well as being convenient CEREC tooth restorations can be a healthier option to standard crowns.
In contrast to standard crowns, when CEREC is used to rebuild a damaged tooth it preserves a significantly greater amount of underlying healthy tooth structure. At the same time it creates a very beautiful aesthetic result.
