Rapid Tooth Straightening with Inman Aligner

How our Birmingham patients can benefit from this adult dental brace.

It seems that, each time we turn on our TV, every person in the world has perfectly straight teeth except for ourselves. Of course, as a celebrity or TV personality, it is in their interest to ensure that they look as good as possible to ensure continuing work. But what about the rest of us? Surely we too would like to have straight teeth and preferably without the ugly old styled metal braces that filled our teenage years with dread?

At our dental practice based in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham, we have just the thing for many people. In fact, the majority of cases that have misaligned teeth are not very severe and a full set of dental braces would be overkill in these situations.

This is where Inman Aligner come into its own. Used in the US since around 2000, these fast acting braces are becoming increasingly popular in Birmingham and the West Midlands, and for good reason.

Works quickly

As well as being aesthetically unappealing, most dental braces also take a long time to work; even the 6 month smile brace, which is excellent for certain situations, takes approximately six months to straighten teeth. How then, can the Inman Aligner act even faster?

Because it has been specifically designed to work with less significant misalignment of the teeth, rather than being adapted to do so, it is able to work very quickly indeed and is also convenient. Usually taking only a matter of weeks, this adult aligner works by using a system of springs to put pressure upon the teeth that are incorrectly aligned, rather than all of the teeth.

Bonus

At Arthur House Dental Care we also offer our patients a bonus who have an Inman Aligner fitted; not only will you get nice straight teeth but we will also give you a free tooth whitening procedure to go with it. To have the aligner fitted, you will, first of all, need to make an appointment to see us in order to have digital x-rays taken to determine the exact positioning and settings of the aligner. This will ensure that your teeth will be moved to the best position possible.

From these x-rays, the aligner will be produced and fitted at your next appointment. It is important that the aligner be worn for a minimum of 16 hours a day, and more if possible, otherwise this will slow down the alignment process. The overall length of time that the aligner will take to work will depend on each case and we will be able to give an estimate at the consultation. In general though, it should take anything between 6 and 16 weeks; any misalignment requiring longer may benefit more from an alternative such as the Six Month Smile or the Damon Aligner.

And Finally

After the Inman Aligner has done its job, it can then be removed. Once we are happy that it has done its job correctly, we will then offer you a free tooth whitening treatment to give you an even better looking set of teeth than you could possibly ever have imagined.
